Megan Stout
Megan played from 2011-2015. Stout earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a double minor in Biology and Chemistry.
Then she received her Doctorate of Medicine (MD) degree at the University of Kentucky.
She is now completing her residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and training to be a Urologic Surgeon.

Lauren (Ford) Sophiea
Lauren (Ford) Sophiea played for LUV from 2011-2015. The Kansas City native majored in Kinesiology. A.T Still University - Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine DO Degree (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine).
Ford is now an Emergency Medicine Resident at the University of Tennessee at St. Thomas Rutherford in Nashville, TN.

Caitlin “Dot” (Dotson) Nichols
Caitlin "Dot" (Dotson) Nichols went to Lipscomb from 2010 to 2014. Dot is now a Board Certified Physicians Assistant working in Sports Medicine and General Orthopedics.
Dot received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Lipscomb University and continued on to Trevecca Nazarene where she earned her Master of Science in Medicine, Physician Assistant
She now lives in Overland Park, Kansas with her husband, Cody Nichols, daughter Carter, and their golden doodle Cash.

Dr. Wall played from 2001 to 2005 and majored in Biology. Fun Fact: Wall went to Lipscomb Academy and her parents are Alumni of Lipscomb University. Dr. Wall is now a Veterinarian at Hillsboro Animal Hospital.

Stephanie "Rex" Hacker played from 2010 to 2014. Hacker is currently an Operating Room Nurse at Hendricks Regional Health. She also spends her off time wtih her kiddos!

Jordan Huston currently lives in Nashville, TN with her dog Milo. She is currently a Registered Nurse for Dr. David Moore at Elite Sports Medicine.

Jenny Phalen is an ER Travel Nurse. The Chicago native says, "My favorite part about my job is that I'm able to make a difference in the lives of others when they're at their lowest, and I'm able to learn something new everyday."

Garrett Joiner (left) still lives in Nashville and is a nurse at St. Thomas West Cardiac Track. Lanie Wagner (right) works with Vanderbilt Pediatrics Medical Acute Care. Garrett, a Brentwood, TN native, and Lanie , who is originally from Tempe, AZ are a great example of those who know how to overcome adversity. The pair won an ASUN Championship during the height of Covid-19.

The Fueling Station
Dr. Ann (Armes) Toy was an Assistant Coach for the Bisons Volleyball Team from 2013 to 2015.
Toy, originally from Nebraska, played at the University of Kentucky. She has received both bachelors and masters degrees in dietetics. She also received her masters in Civil Leadership and most recently received her Doctorate in Dietetics from Lipscomb University.
Ann spearheaded the idea for the Lipscomb Sports Nutrition Fueling Station.

A native of Louisville, KY, Morgan Elmore played for the Bisons from 2016-2020. After earning her degree in Dietetics, Morgan now helps fuel Lipscomb Academy's football team.

Stefine "Jake" (Pease) House
A recent Lipscomb Hall of Fame inductee and ASUN Hall of Famer, Stefine "Jake" (Pease) House, is currently a math teacher at Lipscomb Academy and the Head Coach of the Varsity Volleyball team. 2010 ASUN Conference Volleyball Player of the Year, Pease was a member of three ASUN Championship title squads during her time playing for the Bisons from 2007 to 2010.

Jewell Dobson is a High School English Teacher & volleyball coach at Pope John Paul II. Jewell was player of the year in 2013 and was 5th in the country in kills per set.

Maddie Phillips attended Lipscomb from 2016 to 2020. She now teaches 1st grade at Valley Oaks Elementary, where she went to school growing up.

She monitors student-athlete academic eligibility as well as cultivating transformation spiritual formation opportunities within athletics which consists of coordinating Mission Trips. Marcella Sherfield-Emmanuelli is now a Celebrity Stylist & Personal Shopper. Earning her degree in Fashion Merchandising. After a few years assisting powerful women all across the US feel better about themselves on a day to day basis, Marcella decided she was ready to branch out to professional athletes.
School of Style certified, Marcella has now styled many NFL athletes since the genesis of her shift to fashion styling.

She is no newbie to success. The Lipscomb Hall of Fame inductee and ASUN Hall of Famer, opened her custom hat shop Rustler Hat Company in 2022. Alex studied business at Lipscomb from 2007 to 2011. The ASUN Player of the year also works as a commercial real-estate agent in the Greater Nashville area.

The Spark Collection
Abby was determined to establish a business deeply rooted in community with an emphasis on human connection and celebrating lifes special moments. That vision became reality with the launch of The Spark Collection in April 2021. Stewart transferred to Lipscomb from Kansas State in 2011 and helped the Bisons go on to win their 4th ASUN Championship.

This Nashville-based company is run by former alumni Molly Spitznagle (left) and Chloe Rogers (right).
The two sparked the idea during quarantine when people were having smaller gatherings that called for tasty bites. Since then, they've been doing spreads for weddings, bachelorette parties, and other large gathers. This venture allows them to showcase their love for food and art!

Alex (Scruggs) Young
Alex was apart of Lipscomb Volleyball’s first ASUN Championship in 2007. She has always loved to document her life through pictures with those that she loves. Between teaching Pre-K for 7 years and becoming a mom of three, she has seen firsthand just how quickly kids grow up. Alex decided to start her family photography business to help create and capture memories for other families in whatever stage they are in. “It’s always great to get a cute ‘smile at the camera’ shot, but my favorite photos are the candid in between moments that truly show the realness of life,” Young says. Her goal each session is to create an experience for a family, not just a task that mom signed them up for.

Billy Ebel spent five seasons with Lipscomb University Volleyball. Ebel helped lead the Bisons to three Atlantic Sun Conference regular-season titles and three appearances in the NCAA Tournament. As well as Lipscomb's first At-Large Bid in 2014. Now at the University of Kansas, his success as a coach continues. In 2021, he helped the Jayhawks make their first Sweet 16 appearance since 2015.

Justin Beachy worked with Lipscomb University Volleyball for three seasons before becoming the Head Men's coach at Messiah University. In the 2021 season, Beachy led the team to it's first MAC Championship in program history.

A former ASUN Player of the Year, Brittnay Estes returned to coach at Lipscomb University after working and playing professional beach volleyball in California. In her first year as an volunteer assistant with Lipscomb, she helped lead the Bisons to a ASUN championship in 2020.

Ann Mullins
Ann Mullins is currently the Varsity Head Volleyball Coach and Athletic Director at Father Ryan High School. Mullins was named Libero of the Year in 2005, and is the current All Time Dig Leader at Lipscomb University and in the ASUN conference. She was named Daily News Journal Coach of the Year for the 2009-2010 season. Mullins was inducted in the ASUN conference Hall of Fame and most recently into the Lipscomb University Hall of Fame.

Carlyle Nusbaum is the first Lipscomb Alum to play professionally overseas. Carlyle was an ASUN Player of the year and a two-time member of the USA Development program.

Sami Rubal (left) left the states and traveled to Finland for her first year of professional volleyball in Finland. Originally from Ohio, Sami played from 2017 to 2020 and was a part of the 2020 ASUN Championship.

Garner Goode is currently the Senior Manager of Corporate Development with the Nashville Predators. Prior to working with the Preds, Goode was the Director of Marketing for Lipscomb Athletics. Goode is also an alumni of the university and will always be a member of the LUV Family.

A long-time sports fanatic, Carli Anderson majored in sports marketing. After graduating early, she earned her MBA from Lipscomb. Now she's working her dream job with the Tennessee Titans. Carli played from 2015 to 2020.

Originally from Kansas City, Megan (Kuper) Buckland moved to Wilmington, NC in May of 2021 after graduating from Lipscomb University. She is working as a Real-Estate agent at Intracoastal Reality Corporation.
